In a new single release, Tunde Olaniram pushes his voice to uncharted limits. With an element of unsettling darkness, “Hungry” invites a visceral feeling.  The song opens with the line:

“Open my mouth to start /

Hungry to taste your heart”

He says this is an expression of an urgent primal desire. He continues to slide into that connection between hybrid club and electronic pop sounds, something Tunde began exploring on Transgressor, his 2015 debut LP.

“I kept thinking about taking communion, the imagery of kneeling with your mouth and eyes open. There’s a hunger there, and an ecstasy in submission to that hunger” ~Tunde recalls
