Shaylen has released her debut single, “El Dorado”. It sees the Los Angeles-based artist stepping out of her songwriter’s desk where she’d been busy scribbling hits for other acts. The song is out via Republic Records and was inspired by the mythological ‘Lost City Of Gold’. Shaylen likens herself to the ‘El Dorado’ and describes a man’s pursuit of her. She goes further to say:
“Sometimes I need a reminder that I’m dope, so I wrote this song because we all need that. This song is about feeling like gold.”
