Scheduled to release on June 14th, Storm is the next album by Annie Bacon & Her Oshen. Employing the emotive storytelling of folk music, the album delves into heartbreak, death and the loss of one’s identity.

The new single “Mist” is a captivating blend of rock and folk, showcasing Annie’s signature style with its emotive and pensive lyrics. The warm melodies draw listeners into a contemplative journey.

“I was driving when the whole song came to me at once,” says Bacon, describing the inspiration behind this song. “My kid was sleeping in the back seat. I was trying to imagine what I was looking for in the mist. I put myself in that space. I realized that I was looking for me. I was the one who was lost. How do you come back to yourself when you feel lost in the world? The only way back, is to be where you are in the world at that moment. Even if it’s painful.”
