As his first single of the year, guitar-wielding South African singer-songwriter Steve Louw has released “Giants Walk The Land”. The blues/rock song was written together with Jim Moginie, who is a member of Aussie band Midnight Oil.

“Giants Walk The Land” serves as the first single from Steve’s upcoming third solo album, Between Time (due September 6th). Produced by Kevin Shirley, album finds a contemplative Steve reflecting on the world and his place in it.

“Giant Walk The Land”, for example, is deeply optimistic, with the artist believing that the earth will regain its beauty. He comments, “I am in love with the natural world, its beauty, its power, its timelessness. This is a love song to Earth.”
