Up-and-coming American singer Peyton Shay is on a steady rise. In the two years following her debut, she has released a handful of great songs that have helped her amass a more-than-decent following.

Shay released her latest single “Savior Complex” this April. Last week, she then got to unveil the song’s official music video which was directed by Adam Castilla.

Commenting on the new visual, Peyton Shay commented: “Conceptualizing music videos and making them come to life is one of my guilty pleasures; ‘Savior Complex’ forced me to let go and figure out what it meant to be on my own, and I honestly love that version of myself.”

The song is a defiant anthem about living life on your own terms. Dressed in vibrant production, “Savior Complex” is quite refreshing.
