Trippin’ Sober is Finnish Rapper View‘s bold statement against creatives who can’t stay sober while in the studio and the single is the second in his upcoming debut album. View’s unique vocals blends well with the track’s great production, digging into what today’s Hip Hop sounds like. It is this that has got him performing in almost all of Finland’s summer festivals, and even abroad: he’s has graced events in the UK, Germany, France, Denmark and Switzerland.
I don’t really care what drugs people do and how much~View
And if you thought that this is an anti-drug campaign, you got it all wrong.
View: “This track is not an anti-drug campaign. I don’t really care what drugs people do and how much. The point is that the state of mind that we have in the studio is something that others try to reach with alcohol and drugs. With us it is the other way around. When we go out and grab a beer it is to balance the crazy atmosphere in the studio. I don’t think it’s cool if you have to get wasted to reach a creative state of mind. If the only content of the song is the artist saying how wasted he or she is, it’s time to raise the bar.”
