Stac‘s latest release is Perpetual, an EP she wrote, recorded and released herself, though co-production credits go to Memotone. This project, filled with perky nostalgia, follows up her 2010 debut album via WahWah45s and in it is a record, “Me and You”.

“Me and You, burns from staccato pianette and honeyed vocals into a glorious audio display of brass, strings, vocal harmonies, drum pads, electronic samples and a helicopter. An idiosyncratic mix of live and electronic sounds, the track captivates the quirky personality of the entire EP.

The vocals are so powerful, the writing so good and the feeling it conjures so great.
