Violet Skies is a Welsh singer-songwriter whose music has been described by Earmilk as “dynamic and emotional”. She is also one half of British duo, BitchPlease. 

She now drops an acoustic version of her hit song, “Eyes”. The single was part of her previous project, This Was Us EP.

“.. ‘Eyes’ has been the surprise track for me, when I asked people what they wanted to hear stripped back, this was a one of them. I was so unsure if it was going to even make it on the record because it took us so long to finish and we got a bit stuck to be honest, working and reworking, but now it’s one of my all-time favorite songs to sing and I loved recording this stripped back version, I almost fell in love with it again and remembered why I’d written it.” ~ Violet

This Was Us EP is personal record and emotionally chronicles a relationship from the beginning to the end.
