August is a London-based Indie pop artist. He has just dropped a new single, “Heal”. The emotional piece carries his signature style. Having done well with his singles “Ghosts” and “Chemical” ( which both received support form BBC programs), this new release maintains the achieved momentum.

August crafts anthems and “Heal” has all the hallmarks of one. Inserting an epic chorus to follow the brooding opening to the song, it will get you endear itself to your senses.

“The initial idea came after a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer. Myself, and a bunch of close friends, felt totally helpless seeing someone we cared about hit by tragedy so young and all we could do was hope for a miracle. ‘HEAL’ taps into that desire for hope to reach into a dark place.” ~August
