For the last few years, 27-year old South African singer Sulene had been acting as the lead guitarist for entities like Ruess, Betty Who, and Milck. She had moved to New York City back in 2013 from her city of Cape Town.

Sulene now releases a new record, “Something New”, which is a bonus track in her upcoming Strange (Reimagined) EP. Dropping on December 8, the project carries re-imagined versions of her previous songs.  Born Sulene van der Walt, she had earlier in March, debuted with her Strange EP, which she is now re-imagining (instead of having her songs remixed).
