Aipate introduces EB Rebel, a rapper and producer from the Texan city of Dallas. She released her Trance EP last year, with “Don’t Care” as the lead single. This record earned her much press coverage, including a feature on Afropunk. She also featured in a BET documentary titled “Stay Woke”. She has now just released the visuals for her latest single, “Club 27”.
With EP Rebel’s upcoming Mama, I’m OK EP in the works, we can only remain in anticipation mode for her next release.
“Club 27” is a reflective song. It showcases her great songwriting skills as well as her lyrical flow. The video has a beautiful monochromatic theme and blends well with the lyrics.
