Singer Truth Over Illusion better known as TOI an artist of Jamaican and Trinidadian heritage. In her single “Storm”, the Canadian artist cries out, just asking for peace of mind in the relationship. Most love stories are characterized by arguments, yelling and sometimes pools of tears. TOI just wants it to stop.

The song has a contemporary R&B sound and was produced by Toronto’s LGizzle. With much pain evident in her voice, the song carries tones of emotion in it and the lyrics is quite relate-able. The stress and frustrations that come with love is discernible.
