Some songs only hints at revolutions. Others openly describe it and that is what I can say of “The Song Of The Agitator” by Khari Wendell McCLelland. It is the first track from his new album, Freedom Singer.
In fact, the Soul tune that underlies the lyrics itself carry the song’s theme. The album is a celebration of black history by resurrecting forgotten songs.
