New York native and Brookyn-based artist, Slopes has released a new song, “Let Me Down”. The TKAY-produced track was self-recorded, self-mixed & mastered by the artist, who is a also self-taught producer. He is largely influenced by The Weeknd, Tame Impala and Travis Scott. “Let Me Down” features a trap-infused, bouncy, neo-R&B production and through its reverb-heavy vocals, it engages us with a composition that dives into the circuitousness of relationships and the pain that may result from them.
Slopes has built a reputation around melancholic themes. He infuses elements of psychedelic rock to present us with rhythmic-yet-laidback music, which features a dark-tinged vocal delivery.
