Australian singer Maya Hirasedo has released a new single, “1959”.  The Melbourne-based artist had premiered the song at the VFILES show, during the New York Fashion Week. It arrives as part of a partnership deal between fashion community platform, VFILES and Capitol Music Group’s Caroline Distribution. “1959” is a deeply introspective song that comes covered in a melody-filled, rhythmic track which in turn provides room for Maya to lay in her powerful vocals. The composition was inspired by a blend of her personal recollections and imaginations.

Maya Hirasedo is an R&B artist whose debut single “See Me” came in 2017 and soon catapulted her career to a very decent level. With influences from groovy jazz and reggae tunes, she injects a slow and sensual feel into her creations. Well, considering her wide vocal range, she does manages to do this effortlessly.
