A couple of days ahead of the release of her debut EP, The First Signs Of Me, UK singer/songwriter Hamzaa shares a new single and video, “Breathing”. The song serves as the final release before the 19-year-old artist drops the much anticipated, 6-track project (November 1st). Self-written, “Breathing” was produced by Pantha.
“Breathing” finds Hamzaa is an inspirational song that features a gospel-like chorus. The song, and by extension the whole EP, was written during trying moment in the musician’s life. It’s composition stems from an emotional reflection that finds the best of Hamzaa’s grippingly honest vocals, which, in essence, is delicately breathtaking.
“You’re going to come into a place where you’re going to fall in love and you’re going to feel heartbreak but you’re actually going to be fine.” She says, reflecting on her past, “That’s how life works.”
