UK R&B/pop newcomer Molly Rainford‘s music showcases her deep inspiration from the gripping edges of Soul. Only her second single, “Commitment” (which her new offering) poses her as a force to reckon within the global urban/pop scene. The track found her working with production duo MADFUN, who also co-wrote the song with her. The composition highlights the experiences of one who’s in a relationship which is just not working.
“I love ‘Commitment’ for two reasons. One, because I wrote it on my first ever writing trip to Sweden and two, because it was a way for me to let out some of my feelings towards that particular situation – the lyrics are very honest. Writing sessions are like therapy sessions!” ~ Molly
The 18-year-old, professionally trained artist had, late last year, debuted with “I Like You”, a song which quickly grabbed the attention of industry taste-makers. Molly Rainford is, in fact, scheduled to perform the Sound City Festival in Liverpool, later in May.
