“Winter Air” is the latest single from Canadian, 5-piece band Bears in Hazenmore and it’s a collaboration with Saskatchewan-based singer/songwriter Megan Nash. Slow-building, folksy and melodious, the song derives it’s soothing feel from the outfit’s signature ambient style. With a powerful chorus made of emotive, lead-vocal chants followed by Megan’s recitals, this piece is breathtaking. It is, in fact, a re-up of a previous version which appeared on the band’s self-titled, debut EP, which they released in 2014.
Bears in Hazenmore comprises Brady Frank (lead vocals/guitar/keys), Dana Rempel (bass/sax), Darnell Stewart (guitar), Tanner Wilhelm Hale (drums/vocals), and Dalton Lam (trumpet).
“Winter Air” was written and produced by Bears in Hazenmore, mixed/mastered by Justin Bender. Stream it:
