Arriving now as an Aipate Premiere is the new, interesting EP by rising American singer/songwriter Abel.. Titled nothing but forbidden fruit, the 6-song project has an exciting pop edge although there are various influences, ranging from rock to indie. Highlighted above (and also one of the EP’s most exciting track) is “Kissing Mary”, an indie-pop flavoured record which clearly exhibits the artist’s gripping vocals and heartfelt composition. The song implies Abel.’s sexual orientation and how she has to hide it from her parents.
