K.A.A.N. stands for ‘Knowledge Above All Nonsense’ and it’s the moniker for Maryland-based, American emcee Brandon Perry, an artist whose music has always ignited listeners’ imagination. The hip hop musician is currently working on an album titled Gathering and that project should be out in the course of the year. Meanwhile, he has dropped the lead single “KYST” and the song is accompanied by a music video and we have posted it above. “KYST” is an abbreviated form of the phrase ‘keep your shit together” and the song is powerfully lyrical and reflective.

K.A.AN first appeared on Aipate when we shared his single, “Toonami“, a couple of year ago. His 18-song, forthcoming album Gathering will feature Rudy Love, Bleverly Hills and Blakk Soul.
