“Back of a Truck” is a nostalgic country/rock song that US singer/songwriter Ashleigh Rogers wrote about her hometown, Batesville, Arkansas. Within her recollection, she gets to celebrate how the simple, small town life shaped her personalty while also, reminiscing the happy experiences. The independent artist, who is now based in Nashville, started singing at an early age, with her first stage performance coming at just the age of 10 (at the Independence county fair talent show where she sang “Broken Wing” by Martina McBride). After years of honing her songwriting skills, she is now beginning to record and release songs and “Back of the Truck” arrives in that process. The single comes after her 2018, self-titled, 3-track debut EP, Ashleigh Rogers.
