“Back To Life” is the latest single from Norwegian DJ/producer SJUR . The electronic/pop song features US singer Brandyn Burnette and was released on Sony Music Norway. SJUR has always been innovative with his sound and this has largely helped him amass a huge streaming audience.

SJUR: “I wanted to try something different on this one. I experimented with synths from “Future Bass”, drum patterns from “Drum & Bass” and added melodic verses to design the vibe I was searching for. Working with Brandon was amazing – he completely clicked with the structure of the song, and came up with the verses and chorus in virtually no time at all.”

Born Sjur Kristian Gimmestad in Sandane, Norway, his father was a DJ and ran a couple of clubs in the town. This meant SJUR was raised around music, and soon, he too embraced it. He is now based in the city of Bergen.
