London-raised British R&B singer/songwriter J-Sol releases his soulful piece “Bullet In My Heart”. Penned by the artist himself, the song was co-produced with AC Burrel and then mixed and mastered by David Russell.

Using a soulful voice backed up by choir-like background vocals, the singer delivers a passionate piece that quickly grabs listeners’ heart. The song finds J-Sol addressing mental health and bemourning the loss of his mother to cancer.

“Every year 40,000 children alone suffer the loss of a parent. I’m blessed to be able to be the vessel to talk about the impact and trauma that grieving has on one’s mental health. It’s hard; and losing a parent isn’t something a lot of people feel comfortable talking about.” ~ J-Sol

The artist, who is a former contestant of the X-Factor, plans to release an EP later in the year, with the collaborator-lineup including Conor Maynard, Mila J, Mishon and Anth Melo.
