Canadian singer/songwriter Kalon Hart’s debut album Love Is Surrender is on the way and will arrive sometimes before the end of summer. The Los Angeles-based artist has already shared the LP’s first two singles “The Same Love” and “I Think You Know”, with the latter being accompanied with a carefully made music video.
“I Think You Know” is a beautiful indie-pop song which is heavy on the acoustic guitar. The song’s composition is about moving past our past emotional scars. “This video is a representation of my personal journey from feeling imprisoned in my own emotional baggage, to setting myself free by growing into the artist I’m meant to be and singing from my heart,” Kalon Hart further explains.
‘Kalon Hart’ is the artistic moniker for Rob Teehan, a music composer for film and television. He did move to LA in 2014; before that, he used to play tuba in his hometown of Toronto.
