UK indie-rockers Sad Boys Club have shared another exceptional song. “Dead Fridays” is the first release from the London-based 4-piece outfit’s upcoming EP four shades of the transitional phase. It is a lovely track filled with anxious energy. “Dead Fridays” carries engaging guitar melodies and a smooth flowing and compelling hook.
“‘Dead Fridays’ is the first song of a collection that explores themes of transition, loss and the turbulence that brings, and how to make sense of that. It’s the most angsty song on the record; a loner anthem and a scream into the void. Everyone loves those.”
frontman Jacob Wheldon
Besides frontman Jacob Wheldon, other members of Sad Boys Club are Pedro Caetano Leit (bass), Tom MacColl (drums), Jake Chatterton (guitar) and Chris Holmes (guitar).
