Berlin-based producer Ben Esser has broken his two-year solo hiatus with the release of the single “Stripes”. For this new song, the classically trained pianist collaborated with talented UK guitarist Beau Diako, before enlisting the services of New York artist emawk.

“Stripes” is a sublime piece built from lively, melody-driven and soulful R&B instrumentation, and the overall delivery is on point. Taking cue from Esser’s emotion-imbued production, emawk goes ahead to lay his dreamy yet gritty vocals in such a way that the words fully come to life.
