Every (indie)pop fan will find this new song by NIve (pronounced Nēve) quite rejuvenating, albeit oddly. “Tired” is a dramatic piece that the Los Angles, California-based singer/songwriter penned as an outcry for help in dealing with emotional, physical and mental exhaustion. It is also a personal anthem for dealing with his predicament — and maybe, by extension, the listener’s. The honesty and vulnerability behind the lyrics is only matched by NIve’s strong, stretched and silky vocals.
