Since its formation in 2017, New West has been engaging fans with their songs which dive into themes like infatuation, heartbreak and self-awareness. The Toronto-based Canadian 4-piece comprises musicians Kala WIta, Vella, Ben Key and Noel West. Their latest release is this track entitled “Hate That I Love You”.

The smoothly crafted tune is dominated by lovely piano instrumentation. Lyrically, “Hate That I Love You” describes a bittersweet ‘love story depicting a relationship between two individuals under the influence of intense, obsessive romance’. The vocalist’s delivery further adds power to the lovely indie-pop ballad.
