Westchester, New York-based funk/rock band Smooch announced themselves late last year with the release of their debut EP, Something New. The 5-song project is quite an exciting body of work and its title-track, “Something New”, is a perfect representation of the group’s music style. The singer’s soulful vocals on it fits into the band’s melodic instrumentation.
Smooch consists of 6 musicians: Mike Cesario (drums/band leader), Matt Crossett (vocals/guitar), Robbie Keenan – (Aux Percussion), Joe Lugenbûhl (lead luitar), Jason Robins (bass guitar) and Mike Silverstein (synthesizers). The outfit was formed in 2018 and initially went by name Sticky Nonsense.
