With “Prisoner”, R&B artist Cedric Brazle passionately croons about the on-goings in his head. The song finds the singer/songwriter in some kind of mental prison and he can be heard vulnerably calling out for help. “Prisoner” was released alongside an equally nebulous music video filmed by director Gabe Sheffield. This release brings us some inches closer to Cedric’s forthcoming debut EP.
Brazle (pronounced ‘Brazil’) is counted as one of artists returning purity back to R&B. The Jacksonville, Florida native draws influences from musicians such as Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Michael Jackson, Usher, Brandy and Maxwell.
