Johannesburg, South Africa-based artist Lee Cole‘s latest single “I Don’t Wanna Wait” is admittedly his most vulnerable yet. It is a piano-guided ballad that falls within the ‘post-teen pop’ category, a sub-genre that the singer/songwriter and producer readily identifies with. The songwriting on it is confessional and finds him reminiscing over an experience with a girl. Lee Cole says: “A girl I met in NY (who) ghosted me after spending 2 weeks together. She was supposed to met me a train station and never showed.”

Produced by John Degrazio, “I Don’t Wanna Wait” comes alongside a music video shot in New Jersey by FMF Films.
