Armed with her guitar and scribbling pad, Emmanuelle Sasson is truly unbounded by whatever challenges life can hurl at her. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from New York (but currently based in South Florida) writes songs from her experiences, however painful. Her newest single “Away From Me” is deeply introspective and emotionally gripping.

The song’s self-critical lyrics finds comfort in Emmanuelle’s heartfelt vocals. Musically, the track infuses pop melodies into an indie rock instrumentation. The result is a piece so engrossing. “Away From Me” is the first single from the young musician’s upcoming full-length debut (due this April).
