Denver-based hip-hop producer Neon Brown tapped on emcee Vursatyl (of Lifesavas) for a new boom-bap banger. Titled “Maintain”, it’s a lyrical piece that captures Vursatyl smoothly laying heavy bars over a hard-hitting beat. The song which describes life in Black America is accompanied by an animation-supported clip created and directed by Neon Brown himself.

“Maintain arrives as the A-Side of Brown’s planned limited edition 7-inch vinyl release (due out April 3). Its B-Side is the song “The Light Goes Out” which features Trailer Limon. The two tracks are available on Bandcamp.
