Of course, staying at home due to a lockdown or quarantine is nothing pretty but we need to enjoy ourselves all the same. These 4 house tracks will keep you entertained.
Oli Harper x Mickey Shiloh – “No Chemistry”
Emerging British dance music producer Oli Harper has once again teamed with Enhanced Recordings for a new jam. “No Chemistry” is a rapturous house track that features vocals by Mickey Shiloh. It follows up from Oli’s “Lifetime“, which also arrived via the label. “No Chemistry” is a bouncy and catchy tune that combines the young producer’s skills with the American singer/songwriter’s haunting vocals.
Harpoon – “Horizon”
Sydney-based Australian house musician Harpoon is back with another laid-back banger. The track which is christened “Horizon” is made from an expert blend of guitar chords, fizzy synths and immersive bass. Its summer-tinged melodies are complemented with the honeyed vocals, making this a feel-good anthem. Even while listening from your couch, you are kinda transported to a sandy sun-kissed beach.
Kwesi Azziiiam x Artist Lebo – “Touch Me”
“Touch Me” is an Afro-House track from producer Kwesi Azziiiam and Artist Lebo, a London-based vocalist. The heartwarming song imbues that fresh Amapiano vibe (‘amapiano‘ is a melodic new sub-genre of deep house music that has taken South Africa by storm). “Touch Me” is the second single off an upcoming EP that the two are collaboratively working on — the first was “For You”. It is soulful yet upbeat and has those entrancing Afro-percussive rhythms.
Martin Ikin & Sammy Porter – “Back To Funk”
Martin Ikin and Sammy Porter‘s new track “Back To Funk” is massive. The two UK master producers crafted a piece that mixes funk rhythms and house grooves. It’s a great club record but still can be enjoyed while indoors. ‘Back To Funk” arrives as an independent release.
