“Spaceship” is new single from Brazilian hip-hop DJ and producer SonikCuts and Californian emcee Planet Asia. It’s a headbanging boombap track which is heavy on the samples, loops and scratches, a style we have come to identify SonikCuts with. Planet Asia takes cue from the the producer’s hard-hitting instrumentation to typically deliver excellent verses.
“Spaceship”, which precedes SonikCuts’ forthcoming album Power Moves, is an ode to classic hip-hop.
