Emerging singer-songwriter, producer and jazz pianist Daniel Bazán, Jr. pays homage to his Latin American roots with a new single, “Mírame”. Melding landó (an Afro-Peruvian genre) with elements of trap, he’s crafted a uniquely sounding Latin-pop jam.

“Mírame” involves layers of instrumentation which gives the song its rich soundscape. Lyrically, it finds Bazán, Jr. talking about his experiences as a second-generation immigrant living in a not-so-homogenous American society. It’s sung in Spanish.
