War & Pierce is a US duo made up of singer-songwriter, and guitarist Chris War and Soul singer Sunny War. Introducing us to their creative world is their song “Amen”.

It’s a soulful blues song that addresses the increasing injustices in the American society. The prayer-like lyrics and the additional Gospel choir that backs up the two artists give the song a Christian attribute. “Amen” was produced by Jared Faber, who’s like a quasi-member of the band.

There is a full-length War & Pierce album in the works. Meanwhile, their new single, “The Map” arrives August 21.
