Melbourne artist Tanya George has delivered stunning visuals for her newest single, “Normality”. The indie-pop song is actually title-track and third single from the Australian singer-songwriter’s upcoming EP.

It’s a beautiful piece about challenging the perception of what’s normal in life. Similarly, the video is refreshingly off-centre.

Talking about “Normality”, Tanya says, “The single is about questioning what is normality? What is the normal anymore in society, in our lives? What is a normal life? Am I normal? What is normal?

She continues: “In 2020 we haven’t been living our normal lives so I wanted to challenge the preconceived notion of what makes ‘normal’ music. I did this by producing songs made only from my vocals so I could also share the message that voices are powerful when they come together. And in these difficult times, I feel that our collective voices will be what sees us through.”

The track was engineered by Jimmy Alexander who plays with her vocal loops to create quite a enjoyable record. “Normality” arrives in the heels of the Tanya’s video for “My Hymn”.
