As an artist, Witch Prophet is not only talented but also has a keen sense of class. In her latest video “Tesfay”, the Canadian-based Ethiopian/Eritrean singer-songwriter pays tribute his late grandfather who raised five daughters as a single father in Ethiopia after the passing of her grandmother.

Working with director Leah Vlemmiks, she created a nice visual for the jazz-inflected R&B/soul song. The track is lifted from Witch Prophet’s latest album DNA Activation.
