After impressing with her debut single “Black Hole” a few weeks ago, London-based Irish singer-songwriter Eiza Murphy recently followed it up with another one called “Taxi”. A candid and thought-provoking take on pointless and toxic social interactions, this new song touches on materialism, dishonesty and superficiality. Effectively, it helps show the personality behind this talented artist.

Eiza has had to polish her skills in a professional setting. At the age of 15, she moved to New York to study Logic Pro music production at Dubspot School of Electronic Music. A couple of years later, she returned to Europe and set base in London and started playing local gigs.

On the strength of her first two songs, I got to say she has all it takes to be a pop star.
