Total Brutal is moniker for Los Angeles based artist and multi-instrumentalist Emily Moore. The singer’s new single “Egypt” is a nostalgia-inducing piece about trying to relive that feeling as a kid when one was always excited about the future. “I constantly need to remind myself to play more and lighten up. It’s easy to get lost in the seriousness of life but I want to go through life having fun and viewing everything with curiosity,” she says.

Musically, the track has an intoxicating 80’s feel. It’s characterized by funky grooves, gratifying melodies and lovely synths. Furthermore, the artist’s warm vocals adds another pleasing edge to “Egypt”.
