After teasing it with amazing singles like “DON”T JUDGE” and “IT’S OK”, Daniyel got to release his debut album, 82. Throughout the project’s 10 tracks, the Los Angeles-based, Portland-raised R&B/pop newcomer showcases his melodic style and ability to sing and rap. 82 — the title being a reference to the street the 19-year-old grew up on — was released via COR/TAN and EMPIRE.

Highlighted above is the song “SOMEBODY”. This is an uplifting reassurance that we all have somebody that cares for us even when things are rough. “‘Somebody’ is a song that is like a reminder to myself that even when I feel like everything’s falling down or life gets heavy that somebody out there loves me. My family. My friends. You know?,” explains Daniyel.
