As an independent artist, Leah Kate takes a hands-on approach towards making her music — she even runs her own record label. That independence affords her an ‘IDGAF’ attitude which features prominently in her brand of pop music.

From bold lyrics and vivacious delivery to the exuberant instrumentation, Kate keeps it edgy. Where else would this be better illustrated than on the singer-songwriter’s debut EP, What Just Happened?.

The project is a brilliant body of work. It includes the hard-hitting single, “F U Anthem”. That bubbly track was accompanied by a lovely video which you can see above.
