Indie-pop singer-songwriter Sofi Gev has added another track to her growing catalog. Named “It’s Alright”, the folk-pop ballad highlights the American artist’s thoughtful songwriting.

She explains, “I wrote ‘It’s Alright’ as a playful take on some of our fears and anxieties, real and imagined. But while we worked on the production, the pandemic began to spread and the lyrics started to feel eerily relevant. Hopefully it can spread a little lighthearted fun in a scary, weird time.

Sofi Gev is the solo project of Hannah Lovelady. With influences ranging from Birdy and Maggie Rogers to Coeur De Pirate and Regina Spektor, her music is delicate and affecting.
