“OUAH” is a gripping piece of melodic rap.
The song is by Hong Kong-raised, Sydney-based up-and-comier Yeloboi Tommy. It was produced by Tommy’s younger brother 99hurts and accompanied with a lovely visual directed by Navsrevenge.
“OUAH” is emotional, reflective and motivational.
About the inspiration behind the relatable lyrics, Yeloboi recalls, “I remember we recorded this song in the studio not long after we had just dropped our first official single ‘Frauds’, feeling super motivated. In the hook, I say ‘Ouah Ouah can’t put no trust up in these feelings/I want Mullah Mullah b*tch I done bossed up now I’m winning’. At that time I remember I was grasping on to that feeling in front of the mic, describing my journey on the way to achieve things that I have always wanted to achieve. “
