Australian newcomer Rhys Tolhurst is working on a new EP that will be released early 2023. The first single “Broken” is now out. Actually, it’s the artist’s first release in a while.

“Broken” is a melancholic and affecting ballad. “I wrote this over a few piano chords and a few drinks during Melbourne lockdown,” explains Rhys. “My concept going into writing it was a play on modern society, dating apps and how quickly people are to judge and sum up an opinion of someone in the modern age.“
