Singer-songwriter Tissa Rahim derives inspiration from the likes of Alabama Shakes and Lake Street Dive to create a style which is uniquely hers. Being of Persian heritage, the Canadian artist infuses Middle Eastern flavour to her delivery.

Her new song “Before Someone Else Does” is another showcase of her eclectic sound. The rock/soul tune combines a guitar-driven instrumentation with powerful vocals. It was released together with a live in-studio performance video (see below).
