“Lamu Tamu” was one of the tracks that Udulele released as part of his 2022 album Soulful Benga Vol. 1.

Now, he’s teamed up with his Kenyan compatriot Karim Mwondi, a.k.a Karim — a producer known for his downtempo electronic style — for the remix of that song.

“Lamu Tamu (Remix)” is moodier yet lively and danceable. This track, mixed and mastered by Amsterdam’s Jo Bissa, has groovy basslines that are simply irresistible.

“Lamu Tamu” is an ode to Lamu island town, which is a UNESCO world heritage site.
