Those who’ve been listening to Dune Moss are likely to be hooked to her ethereal indie-electronic sound. The American singer-songwriter started writing music at the age of 15, after picking up the accordion.

Armed with a hauntingly powerful voice, she makes music that is deeply moving. Case in point is her brand new single, “Shake The Ground”. This song is highly uplifting; it urges us to remain resolute in difficult moments.

‘Shake the Ground’ was written during a time when I was experiencing profound depression,” Dune opens up. “Although I’ve faced most of my life with depression by my side, I don’t believe depression is either good or bad. What helps me through these tough moments is knowing that there’s a difference between resisting pain, and acknowledging it and working through dark feelings. Ignoring pain can create more suffering. As I fall into dark spirals throughout my life, I try to visualize myself as a small seed breaking through stone and shaking the ground with inner resolve and optimism.”

This is a great song and I felt Dune Moss is worth getting to know. Follow her on Instagram for future updates.
