Lenka is an easily recognisable name in the Australian music scene. Propelled by her great songwriting, the artist has made a number of huge tunes over the years.

Her latest single is called “Silhouette”. It was released in the company of a retro-inspired visual directed by Adam Jordan.

‘Silhouette’ is a delicious 1980’s pop jam about being worn down by life to the point where you feel like you’re disappearing and becoming numb,” Lenka says. “Almost a nihilistic feeling, but in a joyful way! It’s fun to get creative with your more negative emotions and wear them like a costume, turn them into armour. Sonically this track takes inspiration from soulful 80s synth pop icons such as Eurythmics, The Pointer Sisters and Pat Benatar.
